Services
At BodyWell Nutrition, we offer a wide range of dietary services.
Gastrointestinal nutrition
We can assist individuals who experience:
- abdominal bloating
- constipation
- diarrhoea
- irritable bowel syndrome
- food intolerances
- coeliac disease
- inflammatory bowel disease (Crohn’s disease, ulcerative colitis)
- diverticular disease
- or any other gastrointestinal upset.
We begin by discussing your gastrointestinal symptoms, collecting your history and strategising methods to improve your symptoms. We then review your progress, make any necessary adaptations and build your knowledge and skills.
Sport’s nutrition
Whether you’re an elite athlete, weekend warrior or wanting to conquer an impressive goal, we can assist with your fuelling and recovery needs.
At your initial consultation, we discuss your goals, training load and diet history. We provide you with nutrition education and strategise ways diet can optimise performance.
At subsequent reviews we assess your progress, tweak strategies as needed and continue to expand your nutritional management skills.
Women’s health
A number of women’s health conditions impact on quality of life, including:
- Endometriosis
- Interstitial Cystitis (Bladder Pain Syndrome)
- Pelvic Pain
- Polycystic Ovary Syndrome (PCOS)
- Menopause
Some of these are inflammatory and exacerbated by food intolerances. Others involve weight gain and fatigue. We work with you to come up with a custom nutrition plan to improve your quality of life.
General diet, weight & chronic disease management
There is increasing confusion out there around healthy eating and the easiest way to lose weight, reduce chronic disease and be the best version of yourself. We help separate fact from fiction and debunk nutrition myths.
We explore your diet and medical concerns and set goals to improve your health which are SMART (specific, measurable, achievable, realistic and timely), sustainable and specific to your individual requirements.
Meal plans
We develop custom meal plans in line with client goals. These include:
- Training, competition day (pre, during and post-event) and recovery nutrition plans
- Weight management meal plans
- Low FODMAP meal plans
Meal plans can take time to develop but we aim to email these within five working days of consultations.
Body composition measurements
Body composition can be measured by skin fold testing, as well as waist and hip circumference. We can perform such testing as part of your consultation with us. Offsite testing can also be arranged.
